Vincent Maurice Taylor

Vincent Maurice Taylor, age 32, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 2, 2022. Vincent was a native of Marrero and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA.
Vincent was educated in the Jefferson Parish School system and as a youngster participated in the sports of track, football, and basketball at Martin Luther King Jr. Playground in Harvey.
Vincent is the son of Sharon H. Taylor and the late Van Taylor, Sr., brother to Shondra (Eric, Sr.) Anderson, Chandra (John), Van Jr. (Whitney) Taylor, uncle to Micah, Leon Jr., Eric Jr., Madison, Evan, Christian, Ethan, Ean, Eden, Brooklynn and the late Jordyn.
He is the grandson of Ruthie Helire and the nephew of Elaine (Martin Sr.) Granger, Gloria (Reginald) Smith, Monica Helaire (Brian), Rosalind (Jeffery) Byrd, Kenneth, Rodney, Ronald (Shantae) Helaire, Samuel Taylor, Dana (Kenneth) Black, Verna Frazier, Bessie Lonon, Mona Taylor, Yvette LeBlanc & Fay Lewis. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Regular Baptist Church located at 901 5th Street, Gretna, LA 70053. The visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman officiating, and interment will follow at Evening Star Cemetery.
Due to Covid – 19, facemasks are encouraged.
