Vicky Lynn Hingle

Vicky was born on Monday February 6th, 1956, and was raised in Marrero, LA. In Vicky’s early years she was an avid dancer which was a passion she continued throughout her life. Vicky married her husband Mark Hingle in 1988. Vicky graduated from Charity School of Nursing in 1998, which was a lifelong goal that she achieved. Her career was cut short when she was attacked by a patient which injured her back, but she continued her love of nursing and continued to read medical journals and educate herself. Vicky was an animal lover and frequently donated to animal shelters, as well as gave many rescues forever homes throughout her life. Vicky is survived by her husband Mark Hingle, two sons Donnie (Crystal) Grenade, Mark Everett (Katie) Hingle, niece that she thought of as a daughter Melissa Beech, three grandchildren Gracie Hayes, Skyler Hingle, Amelia Hingle, mother Myra Arcement, brother Craig (Lori) Arcement, close cousins Carroll (Rosalyn) Albarade and Linwood (Wanda) Albarade. She was preceded in death by Father Marion Vicknair, stepfather Leo Arcement and grandparents.  

Mark was by Vicky until the end and supported her through her fight with Cancer and her back injury. Vicky and Mark's favorite vacation destination throughout their marriage was Cades Cove TN which Vicky asked to be her final resting spot. 

Vicky died with her youngest son, daughter-in-law, and husband by her side. She left the pains of this world to rest with and rejoice with Christ. Knowing that gives us comfort but she will be dearly missed and her memory will be kept alive by those that loved her most. You are now pain free, enjoy doing the jitterbug again in Heaven.

A memorial will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on 3/26/2022 from 11:30AM-1:30PM Located at 1933 Enterprise Dr, Harvey, LA 70058. All Friends, Family, and acquaintances are welcome to join. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude Vicky Hingle memorial fund.
