Tanya Ann White

Tanya Ann White age 53, was called home after a lengthy battle with pulmonary sarcoidosis on Monday, July 31, 2023 in New Orleans, LA. She was born on January 24, 1970 in New Orleans to Theola Mae White and George White. She was baptized at 11 years old at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Boutte, LA. She was christened by her uncle Alvin "Rogers' Alexander and aunt Loretta Alexander. Tanya was preceded in death by her brother Darryl White. She leaves behind to cherish her memories a long time companion Bryant Hunter Sr; children Lashanta White (Derrick), Bryant Hunter Jr., Akeem Hunter and keimanie White; her grandchildren Amari White, Damarion, Derrion, Derrick III and Damani Jones. She is also survived by her siblings Myra Bovie (Alton), Yolanda Hill (Herschel), Denise Lebeauf (David),and Sarah Lockett (Keltric), as well as several aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037 on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 10a.m., until 11:30 a.m.

Graveside services and interment will follow at 1p.m., at Mt. Airy Cemetery located at 13566 US-90, Boutte LA., 70039.
