Sarrin (Farrin) LaCraig Addison, was born on Christmas Eve 2001 to Farrell Williams Jr. and Joannetha Octavis Addison at Ochsner Hospital Westbank (formally Meadowcrest Hospital) in Gretna LA. He departed this life on Monday August 29, 2022, at University Medical Center in New Orleans. He was 20 years old, and a resident of Harvey LA. Farrin accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Bishop Sean T. Elder at the Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Avondale LA.
He loved sports, especially football and basketball and had a phenomenal work ethic. While playing sports he continued to work a full-time job throughout high school. He graduated in 2019 from L.W. Higgins High School in Marrero LA. He recently decided to pursue a career in trucking and move to Dallas Texas. To know Farrin was to love him.
He is the devoted father of Farrin Addison Owens. Beloved son of Farrell Williams Jr. and Joannetha Addison. Grandson of Lesia (Arthur) Mitchell and Everhelina (Willie) Dickerson. Brother of Paris (J Lynn) Addison, Kedranea’ and Ja’Kayla Addison. Nephew of Darrell (Lisa) Williams, Craig (Iesha) Addison, Kendall (Christy) Addison, Latrell Jones and Eyonta Addison. Godson of Shelia Harden and John Chandler. He is also survived by several great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Farrell Williams Sr. and great grandparents Calvin (Christine) Collins and James (Octavia) Addison Sr. and Uncle Marc Anthony Addison.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Mt. Herman Baptist Church located at 3512 US-90, Avondale LA. 70094. The visitation will begin at 9A.M. followed by the service at 11A.M. Pastor Darold A. Ingram Jr. will officiate, and interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park 3450 US-90, Avondale LA. 70094.
