Santana Marie Gaines

Santana M (Suckie) Gaines departed this life suddenly on Monday July 14,2025 at her home in Baton Rouge, La. She was 52 years old and was a long life native of North Carolina and a resident of Harvey, La. Santana handed her life over to God where she went to the water at Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center, Marrero, La. She also became a member of New Creation Praise and Worship located in Hammond, La.

She the beloved daughter of Danny C Gaines Sr and Sheila Swain. Devoted and loving Mother of Passion Gaines, Kourtney (Darien) Allen and Daja'Nee Dyer. Devoted grandmother of Arianna, Dakota, Amiyah, Kairo, Zaire and Cataleya. Sister of Demetria, Danny Jr and Damien Gaines. Granddaughter of the late Gerald and Eunice Gaines, and Evergreen Roberts and Bernard St. Ann Sr. Goddaughter of Earline and Anthony Duplessis. Devoted friends of Raven Gaines, Amanda Turner and Latrice Sanders. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Private service for immediate family was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Robinson Family Funeral. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.
