Ryan Joseph Riley affectionately known as " Poker Jay" or "Tip -Toe" entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 1st, 2025 in Braitwaite LA. He was 56 years old and a native and lifelong resident of Point-Ala-Hache LA. Ryan was born on August 18, 1969 and was a proud graduate of Phoenix High School Class of 1989. Beloved son of the late Brenda Cornin Narcisse and the late Herman Mitchell Jr. Devoted husband of the late Darlene White Riley and father of the late Ryan Riley Jr. Ryan leaves to cherish his precious memories his stepfather: Anthony "Dee Dee" Narcisse, his stepmother: Rosemary "Red" Mitchell, and his devoted siblings: Jarred Riley Sr., Irvin Riley Sr., Navon Narcisse Sr., Shanika Narcisse, Trenise Mitchell, Rosetta Riley, Charlette Gabriel, and Tiffany Mitchell. He is also survived by precious granddaughter whom he adored Riley, and his goddaughter Andriyell Onidas, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday October 11th, 2025 at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 Hwy 15, Point-Ala-Hache LA. 70082. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by an 11AM mass. Father Sampson Abduli will officiate and interment will be private.
