Russell Alexander Hammler

Russell Alexander Hammler departed this life on Sunday, January 31, 2021, in New Orleans, LA. He was 50 years old. He was a resident of New Orleans and Slidell, LA.

He is the beloved son of Preston and Annetta Hammler. Loving father of Russell Anthony Haney. Beloved brother of Alisa Hammler (Gregory), Preston Timothy and Allen John Hammler. Russell is also survived by his niece Ariyana Carr, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved companion Raphela Haney.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 Highway 23 Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Visitation will begin at 12 noon with Celebration of Life beginning at 1p.m. Minister Jordan L. Robinson Sr. will officiate. 

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a face mask or other proper facial cover, and practice social distancing.
