Rosetta Johnson Palmer

Rosetta Johnson Palmer 81, departed this life on June 8, 2023, at her home in Avondale, Louisiana. She was born on April 5th, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana and was the second of six children, to the union of Alberta Diggs Johnson and Manuel Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Johnathan Johnson and Darline Thompson. Two sisters, Irma Lee Johnson and Yvonne Johnson Nelson, two brothers, Manuel Johnson & Leroy Johnson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert Palmer and her brother Lionel Johnson.

Relatives & friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037. The visitation will begin at 2 p.m., and the service will begin at 3 p.m. Reverend Kevin Roy officiating and interment will be private.
