Rosemary Lester Bonvillian

Rosemary Lester Bonvillian departed this life on Sunday, September 17th, 2023, at Riverbend Nursing Home in Jesuit Bend LA. She was 85 years old and a longtime resident of Belle Chasse LA. She retired from Belle Chasse High School after several years of dedicated service.

Daughter of the late William J. and Velma Navarre Lester. Devoted wife of the late Edward P. Bonvillian Sr. Beloved mother of Edward "Eddie" P. Bonvillian Jr. (Linda), Rodney Bonvillian (late Karen), Melinda Tindell (Drexter), and the late Alan Bonvillian and Donna Moore (Mike). Sister of Beverly Palmisano and the late Roy, Williams Jr., Elwood, Bernard and Calvin Lester, Thelma Chassion, Evelyn Bruce and Geraldine Ricksthofen. Mrs. Bonvillian is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 9:30AM followed by an 11AM mass. Father Kyle Dave of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Belle Chasse will officiate. Entombment will follow in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
