Rose Alma "Te-Fee" Narcisse Parker, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully accepted her heavenly wings and entered the presence of our Heavenly Father on March 10, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving behind a profound legacy of love, faith, and excellence. Rose's life was defined by her devotion to her family and her commitment to high achievement. She was preceded in death by the two loves of her life: her beloved husband, Nelson "Brud" Parker Sr., and her cherished son, Oliver Adrien Parker. Her influence lives on through her children, who carry forward her standard of excellence: Dr. Constance Parker Bonnet (Gretna, LA); Nelson Parker, Jr. and wife Kellaye (Fresno, TX); and Arianne Parker Flot (Gretna, LA). Rose's pride extended to her grandchildren, whose accomplishments were her greatest reward: Ian Cotton, Esq. (Jasmine), Reil Parker, Reco Parker, Sr., and Antonio Flot, all of Gretna, LA; Onaye Parker (Lance) of Pearland, TX; Onya Parker of Atlanta, GA; Kelsyn Parker, Esq. of Corpus Christi, TX; and George Holmes, Sr. of Clear Lake, TX. Her spirit continues to flourish in her great-grandchildren: Reco Parker, Jr., Sweden Lee, Parker Phillips, Mason Scallion, George Holmes Jr., Serennity Holmes, and her precious namesake, Ila Rose Cotton. Rose is lovingly remembered by her devoted brothers and sisters: Felix (Blond) Narcisse, Kermit (Paco) Narcisse (Samatha), Anthony (De-De) Narcisse, Francis (Ta-Tanh) Narcisse, Caffie (Cathy) Riley, and Cledman (Joe) Narcisse. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Marie Parker, Angelina Parker, and Carolyn Godchaux, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special place in her heart was always reserved for her godchildren: Navon Narcisse, Sr., Alea Parker, and Althea Parker.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services for Rose Alma Narcisse Parker on Saturday, March 21, 2026. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 17605 HWY 15, Pointe a la Hache, Louisiana 70082. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by a 10AM mass. Father Sampson Abduli will officiate and entombment will follow in the church's cemetery.
