RONALD “CALIO” ROSS, departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday July 10, 2021, at his home in Belle Chasse, LA. He was 52 years old and was a native and lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish LA.
Beloved son of Shirley Mae Ross Jason and stepson of the late Andrew “Boone” Jason Jr.
Devoted husband of Mary Ann Williamson. Father of Ronald and Aaron Black. Stepfather of Trenekia Davis and Donesia Johnson. Brother of Rose Mary Weatherstrand, Andrew Jason III, Melissa Jason Washington, Morissa Sterling and Jonathan Jason. Brother in law of Lawrence Weatherstrand Sr., Haven Washington, Rochelle Franklin, Melvin Smith, Tirongila Jason, Lee Allen Burns and Charles Burns. Step grandfather of Mark Hunter, Alexis Reuther, Nakayla Black, Nakyah Johnson, Triston Williams and Mason Amacaker. Devoted friend of Richard “Rip” Harden. “Calio” is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday July 19, 2021 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 9A.M. followed by an 11A.M. service. Rev. Irvin Ross associate minister of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Ironton LA. will officiate. Entombment will follow in Ironton Cemetery in Ironton LA.
Due to COVID-19, a facemask or other proper facial covering WILL BE REQUIRED to enter the funeral home.
