Roger Thomas Moliere Sr. "Cowboy"

ROGER THOMAS MOLIERE SR. “COWBOY”  departed this life peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021, at his home in Point-Ala-Hache Louisiana. He was 82 years old and was a longtime commercial fisherman. Son of the late Acquila “Tee Lee” Moliere and Thelma Duplessis Moliere. Devoted father of Gena Demolle, Roger Moliere Jr., Roderick Moliere Sr. (Kim), Ryan Moliere Sr. (Ashley), Joy Cornin and Trini Harvey Sr. He also raised his nephew Al Moliere Sr. (Tasha) Brother of Charles Moliere, Maxine Moliere Spight (deceased Sidney), Jimmy Moliere Sr. (Sabine), Wilfred Moliere (Carol), and the late Marjorie Summers (Ferdnand), Benny Moliere, Al Moliere Sr. and Lucien Moliere Sr. Cowboy is also survived by 19 loving grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, as well as several devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family as well as members of the Fisherman and Concerned Citizens Association, Inspire NOLA Charter Schools, Turn Service Inc., Sai Gulf, H&E Equipment and Pic One Seafood are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Saint Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 LA-15, Point-Ala-Hache LA. 70082. The visitation begins at 9A.M. followed by an 11A.M. Mass. Father Sampson Abduli will officiate, and entombment will follow in the church’s cemetery.
