Obituary

Reva "White Girl" Garrison-Lewis entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Reva was born July 8, 1987. She was the beloved daughter of Lisa Garrison Rowan and David Hill. She was the stepdaughter of Larry Rowan.
Reva was born and raised in Oakville, Louisiana and resided in Houston, Texas for the past twelve years. She was baptized at the community church, Greater Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church by Dr. Darnell Smith, Sr. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Gregory Lewis Sr. on June 9, 2021. Their union was blessed with four children, Brionna, McKenzie, Gregory "Trey", Jr., and Omunique Lewis, whom she loved and adored.
She was the loving sister of Elisca (Nicole), Larry, Dana Garrison, and Tina (Rose) Madison.
Reva attended and graduated from Belle Chasse High School. She went on to further her education at Everest University where she received a degree in Medical Billing and Coding. She was employed at the Veterans Evaluation Services as a Senior Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.
Reva was a loving person with a beautiful, joyous personality. She was affectionately known to all as "White Girl", because of her proper accent, boujee ways, and her love for Michael Kors. She had a real love for the color PURPLE. It didn't matter what shade. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and playing BINGO.
Reva leaves to cherish her memories, her mother and father Lisa Garrison-Rowan and David Hill; her stepfather, Larry Rowan; her children, Brionna, Mckenzie, Gregory Jr. and Omunique Lewis; her husband, Gregory Lewis; her siblings, her Godmother Regina Stewart; her Godchild, Stan McKinney; life-long childhood best friends, Kimberly Gaines and Errol Ragas, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friend.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oscar Lee, Sr, and Veraldine Turner-Garrison; her paternal grandparents, Felton and Lillie Rose Lawrence-Hill; her uncle Felton Hill Jr.; her aunt Sonja Hill; cousins, Raphael Garrison and Jordan Wilson; her mother-in-law, Linda Smith; her Godfather, Morris Parker, and a host of other relatives.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by a 11AM service. Pastor Edward Watkins of the King David Worship Center will officiate. Entombment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery located at 1225 Whitney Ave. Gretna LA.
The family will also receive guest for a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 6PM until 8PM.
