Raymond “Earl” Brooks

Raymond “Earl” Brooks entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 18th, 2022, at the age of 59.  Raymond was born on December 2, 1962, to Roosevelt and the late Naomi J. Brooks in Liberty, MS.  He was a longtime resident of Harvey, LA.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Raymond, Mychilia Melancon, Rachelle and Shanquil Gumbs, his father, Roosevelt Brooks, siblings, Glennis Brooks, Carolyn Eurystthee, Rose Brooks, Tinny Brooks, Connie Poston and Shantell B. Greene.  Raymond is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends. 

“When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free?”

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation which will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA – 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037, from 2 – 4 p.m.    

Due to COVID – 19, it is required that everyone in attendance wear a facemask or other proper facial covering.
