Raymond Joseph Rojas

Raymond Joseph Rojas, Jr passed away on Thursday, December 8th, 2022, at Ochsner Hospital Westbank Campus, surrounded by his loving family. He was 61 years old. He was born in Marrero, Louisiana, on October 1, 1961, and was a lifelong resident of Port Sulphur, LA. He worked as a barge captain for Rojas Fabrication for 20 years. He also worked as a commercial fisherman and loved being on the water.

Beloved son of the late Raymond Joseph Rojas Sr., and Johanna Roberts Rojas. Husband of Birdie Saunier Rojas. Father of Billy Rojas Sr, (Ashley) and Lacey Rojas (CJ). Grandfather of Billy Jr., Brayden, Brennen and Skylar. Brother to Randy (Hallie), Ricky (Michelle), Tammy (Curtis), and Robert (Samantha). He is also survived by numerous relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m., and the service will begin at 12 noon. Pastor Elroy Mackey officiating, and interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna, Louisiana.
