Randy Tim Mackey

Randy Tim Mackey departed this life on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was 56 years old. He was born on November 2, 1966, in New Orleans, LA to the late Jacquelyn Mae Mackey Hudson and James Manuel. He was baptized by Reverend Johnson prior to Katrina. He later joined River of Life Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Roy Mareno. He is the grandson of the late Marguerite Cannon Mackey, Joseph Mackey Sr., Josephine Zenon Manuel Barthelemy, Joseph (Red) Manuel, and Marceln Barthelemy.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Joshua Mackey Sr., (Ajalynn), Ambria Mackey, Randacia Mackey, Randell Mackey, Jerold Gibson, Danica Sylve, Taylor Sylve, and Diamond Mackey. 2 sisters Grachel Louise Manuel Whins and Sieda Mackey, 2 brothers James Jeffery Manuel (Latoya), Elroy Mackey (Jessica), and the late Latrell Mackey. 18 grandchildren, Iyanna Gibson, Amyha Gibson, Jerold Todd Gibson Jr., Emersyn Gibson, Joshua Pierre Mackey Jr., Malaysha Monae, Jalaysha Mackey, Paisley McHenry, Jaylynn Recasner, Raniyah Recasner, Jamaal Recasner, Jamari Recasner, Prineston Mackey, Riyan Mackey, and Rylan Gaines. 2 aunts, Vera Mackey Martin, and Cheryl Manuel, 3 uncles, Joseph Mackey Jr., Rick Byron Mackey, and Johnny Lee Manuel Sr. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Jacquelyn Mae Mackey Hinton, and James Manuel, and 1 brother Latrell Mackey.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at River of Life Ministries located at 25640 LA - 23, Port Sulphur, LA 70083. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Roy Mareno officiating, and entombment will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Port Sulphur, LA.
