Racheail Marie (Smallwood) Hubert

RACHEAIL MARIE SMALLWOOD-HUBERT, departed this life peacefully on Sunday June 6, 2021 at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero LA.  She was 50 years old.  Racheail was born on July 1, 1970 in New Orleans LA. and was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System. She was a longtime resident of Marrero LA. and recently retired from Metro PCS as a manager.  

Beloved wife of 21 years to Glenn Ray Hubert.  Devoted mother of Christopher (Ronda) Smallwood, Johnathan (LaKendra) Smallwood, Gerald Smallwood, Lorenzo (Sharaja) Smallwood and Dwayne Hubert.  Grandmother of Christopher Jr, Christian, Sethtavious, Sevyn, Jaylen, Raven, Corianne, Brandy and Hailey.  Godmother of Joshua Denis Sr.  Sister of Rev. Nathan (Candy) Denis.  Sister-in-law of Kathy Brown, Lemonica Jenkins, Karen Hubert, Arthur Jenkins and Freddie Hubert Jr.  Devoted aunt of Jerome (Brianque) Rodney, Chris (Brandie) Denis, Nathan (Kristi) Denis and Joshua Denis.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and devoted friends. 

 
She was predeceased by her parents Earline Joseph Smallwood and Valriece Smallwood; mother and father-in-law Rose and Freddie Hubert; grandparents Welmon and Victoria Joseph and Nylie Joseph and her devoted friend Jessica Mayes. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday June 11, 2021, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA – 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 at 10 a.m.  The visitation will begin at 9 a.m.  Reverend Nathan Denis officiating and interment will follow at Moonshine Cemetery, in Moonshinville, LA.  

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
