Peter Ronquille

Peter Ronquille departed this life on Sunday, January, 11, 2021. at Terrebonne General Hospital, in Houma, LA.  He was 82 years old and a resident of Lafitte, LA., for more than 72 years.  Peter was a fisherman all of his life.  He is the son of the late Adler Ronquille (Toupee), and the late Olivia Robeaux Ronquille (Toot).  He was the loving husband to the late Deola Richoux Ronquille, and the loving companion to Marie Breaux for the past 13 years. 

He was preceded in death by his 2 sons, Brian and Roger Ronquille, his sisters, Betty Hertz (Fuzzy), Shirley Mooty (Larry), and Cookie Moll (Jude).  He is survived by his brothers George Ronquille (Brenda), Roland Ronquille (JoAnne), and his sister Diane LeBlanc (Larry.  He is the loving grandfather of Bruce, Macie, Lanie Ronquille, and Candace Ronquille Molina.  He is also survived by 5 adoring great grandchildren, his loving daughter in law for the past 31 years, Libby Encalade Ronquille. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the graveside service on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Westlawn Memorial Park located at 1225 Whitney Ave, Gretna La. 70056 at 12:30 P.M.  Father Kyle Dave of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Belle Chasse will officiate.  Mr. Ronquille will then be entombed next to his late wife Deola.

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and follow social distancing guidelines.
