Pernell Broussard

Pernell "Tip" Broussard entered eternal rest at his home in Carencro LA. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the age of 61. He was a native of Ironton LA. Pernell was born on December, 1,1962 to the union of the late Verlyn Sims Broussard and Merlis Broussard Sr. Beloved brother of John Broussard Sr. (Ursula), Michael Broussard, Karen Waller (Michael), David Black (Karen), Daniel Black (Eve), Alefia Howard (Chris), Krystal Salvant, Javon Manuel (Tracey), and the late Monica Ross (Irvin), James Broussard and Merlis Broussard Jr. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Pernell was affectionately know as "Tip" because of his gracious generosity to others. He was fond old school cars in which his license plate always read "cant keep a good man down". After graduating from Belle Chasse High School Pernell went on to receive a Bachelors Of Science degree in Applied Mathematics in May of 1988 as well as a Bachelor Of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in August of 1988 from the University Of New Orleans in which his area on concentration was electrical power systems, power generators and power distribution.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037.The visitation will begin at 12:30PM followed by a 1:30PM celebration of Life. Rev. Jordan La'Vell Robinson Sr. will officiate and entombment will follow in Ironton Cemetery.
