Patricia Ann Washington was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 9th, 2021. She was 70 years old. She was born to Melvin and Geniva Jackson on June 2nd, 1950 and was a longtime resident of Bridge City, La.
Devoted wife to Charlie F. Washington. Mother of Christopher (Bessie) Jackson. Grandmother of Jamal (Kimberly) Brown, Seymone (Nicholas) Dumay, and Christopher Jones. One brother Manuel (Geraldine) Jackson and sister-in-law Doris Marie Palmer. She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Geniva and Melvin Jackson Sr. Two sisters, Alma Lee Jackson and Martha Ann Cashmere, one brother Melvin Jackson Jr, and one niece Nikeitha Jackson.
Patricia was a Christian woman well known for her caring personality and charm. From a young woman her life was dedicated to service others and she will never be forgotten by her family and friends. She will forever be in our hearts.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church located at 831 Wayne Ave, Westwego LA, 70094, at 12 p.m. The limited visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Reverend Robert Davidson officiating and entombment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery located at 9820 West Nine Mile Point Road, Westwego LA, 70094.
