Pamela C.E. Coleman received her wings and eternal rest on November 29, 2022. After a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure and other Lupus related ailments, she was freed of pain at the young age of 72.
Pamela was born on December 28, 1949, in Pineville, Louisiana. She attended Archbishop Blenk High School and married her childhood sweetheart, Patrick L. Edmond Sr. at the age of 17. Pamela was a Reservist for the U.S. Air Force, she received various licenses, and then she rose through the ranks of civilian service with the US Navy as a Computer Programmer.
A lifelong resident of New Orleans West Bank, Pamela loved music, dancing, and most importantly, family. She is survived by her four children: Roxanne Bridgewater (Warren), Patrick Edmond Jr, Veronica Reid (Vicente), and Bernard Coleman Jr; sixteen grandchildren: Charianne, Sean, Kedren, Pamela, Maya, Patrick III, Kenja, Iman, Torey, Frujen, Warren Jacob, Veronique, Victoria, Valyn, Shalon, and Bernard III; Step Father Frank Barnes, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Pamela is preceded in death by her mother Genevieve Coutee Barnes and sister Mary Rosine McClinton.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA – 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The service will begin at 10 a.m.
