Oliver Turner, Jr

Oliver "Muggie" "OT" Turner Jr., transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday March 30th, 2023, at his home in Marrero, La., he was 74 years old and a native of Potash La. He is the son of the late Dolores Antoine and Oliver Turner, Sr. He was the devoted husband of Irene Green.
Stepfather of Jamaal Green, Shinta Scott, Clara Scott and the late Corey Harris, Sr. Grandfather of Corey Harris, Jr., Khadijah Harris, Jasalyn Ogdee, Joshua Hampton and Jameisha Green.
Brother of Darrell (Venda) Turner, Thelma Jackson, Roslyn Turner and Elouise Bartholomew and the late Kerry, Keith, Oscar B. and Frederick Turner, Sr., and Lisa T. Garrison.
Brother-in-law of Oscar Garrison, Jr., the late Joseph Jackson, Alcide Morgan and Shelia R. Turner.
He is also survived by his Uncles Wilfred Antoine, Sr (Linda) and Donald Turner, his Aunt Shirley Antoine., other family members and devoted friends Johnny Encalade, Aaron Jones, and Jerry Magee. Also left to cherish his memory is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to celebration of life service on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m.
Interment will be private.
