Nathaniel Rogers

Nathaniel Rogers “Nat” transitioned from earthly to eternal on Friday, January 13, 2023, at his home in Port Sulphur, Louisiana. He was 67 years old and a native of Nairn, Louisiana. He relocated with his mother to Terrytown after Hurricane Katrina. He was the son of the late Albert and Lois Katherine Riley.
Nathaniel is the brother of Anthony Rogers, step-brother of Vent (Cassandra) Williams, and step-sister, Knedia (Avery) Parker Diaz. He is the uncle of Kayla and Anthony Rogers, Jr., Trenette Williams, Gabriella, Jorge, Josiah, and Chanel Diaz. He is also survived by several cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers, and members of neighboring churches are all invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home, 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Leander Taylor, Sr. officiating and interment will follow at Tropical Bend Cemetery in Empire, Louisiana. There will be no repass.
