Monroe Scherzer Obituary

Monroe Heyman Scherzer departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Beau Maison Peristyle Residence. He was 91 years old and was born in New York City, NY., and resident of New Orleans, LA., for over 50 years. He is the son of the late Max Scherzer and Clarisse Scherzer.

He is the loving husband of the past 42 years to Monya Gray Scherzer. He is the father of Brian Scherzer, and brother of Norton Scherzer. Also left to cherish his memory are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Monroe Scherzer were privately held.
