Michael “Mike” Wyatt Alexander, Sr. was born on January 25, 1970, to the late Moses Alexander, Jr. and Lillian Hawkins. Mike accepted Christ at a young age. He was a member of First Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mike was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School. At the time of his demise, he was employed by Tulane Medical Center. On November 5, 2022, at Ochsner Medical Center, Mike entered eternal rest. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be remembered for his comical jokes and laughter. Memories of Mike will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Aquilla Dillion, Mikella Womack, and Michael Alexander, Jr., his stepdaughter Shardae Womack, his grandchildren, of which he loved dearly, Darryl Dillion, Allison and Aliyah Joseph. He was looking forward to the arrival of baby Maziah Alexander in March of 2023; four sisters, Lynell Hawkins (Cindy), Hope Hawkins, Lakita Harris (Jeffery), and Jovan Sam (Allen); two brothers, Marlon Hawkins (Jannine) and Jermaine Alexander; six aunts, Catherine Patterson, Loicy Benjamin, Martha Alexander (god-mother), Gloria Dabney (Michael), Bertha Stevens (Marvin) and Sheryl Young; six uncles, Junius Hawkins, John Alexander (Judy), Floyd Alexander, Sr. (Patricia), Mitchell Alexander, Sr. (Lenier), James Alexander, Sr. (Violet), and Donald Alexander, Sr. (Hope), and his two god-brothers, Schedrick and Kedrick Alexander. He was the godfather of A’Tiah Bernard. Mike was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Valeria Hawkins and James White and is paternal grandparents Moses Alexander, Sr., and Lizzie Alexander. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA – 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Kimble Windham officiating, and interment will be private. Due to Covid – 19, facemasks are required. Funeral planning entrusted to Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA – 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037.
