Melvin Alexander Dillard Jr. of Port Sulphur LA., passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was 32 years old.
Beloved son Alicia James and the late Melvin Alexander Dillard Sr. Loving father of Kole, Addison, King, Lennon and Mylon Dillard. Devoted grandson of Myra Jackson Jones and the late Alexander Jones Sr. and the late Virgil James. Melvin is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and deep love for his family. He brought great joy to everyone around him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Greater Mount Siani Baptist Church located at 27954 Port Sulphur LA. 70083. The visitation will begin at 11AM until 12:55PM ONLY. The service will begin at 1PM officiated by Pastor Allen Johnson. Entombment will follow in Tropical Bend Cemetery in Empire LA.
