Meghan Christina Williams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing our beloved, Meghan Christina Williams. Meghan departed this life on Monday, November 18, 2024. She was born on September 28, 1995. She was the cherished daughter of Constance Marie Smith-Williams and the late Herbert Terry Williams. She was a lifelong native of Braithwaite, La. Sister of Teriyona Francis (Joseph, Jr.), Taisha Williams, Terrion Williams (LaToya) and Trone Williams (Amber). Aunt of Trinity, Marlee, Emmalyn, Marcus, Maddox, and Joseph, Jr. Granddaughter of Rita Lewis Smith, the late Thornton Charles Smith, the late Herbert Glenn Williams, and the late Irma Cross Williams. Meghan was the niece of Yvonne Ben, Jacqueline Lafrance, Adrian Hill (Charles), Glenda Matthews (Ronald), Othella Hughes (Leary), Pamela (Rev. Michael Jiles), Stephanie Reed (Rev. Terence Reed), Byron, Sr. (Wyona) and Vernon, Sr. (Peggy). She attended and graduated from Phoenix High School in 2013. She worked as a seasonal employee of the United States Postal Service. Meghan is preceded in death by her father, Herbert T Williams; grandmother Irma Williams; grandfathers Thornton Smith and Herbert G. Williams; and Aunt Cheryl Smith Isidore.

Relatives and friends of the family; pastor, officers and members of the Bethlehem Baptist Church; and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 111 Bethlehem Lane, Braithwaite, LA 70040 on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11AM, Rev. Michael W. Jiles, Sr., officiating. Visitation will begin at the above-named church on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9AM until service time.
