Martin "Buddy" St. Ann Jr.

Martin “Buddy” St. Ann Jr., departed this life on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Ochsner Hospital Westbank Campus.  He was 86 years old and a native of Buras, LA.  He was a retired Truck Driver and a devoted Commanding Officer for the Knights of Columbus, former number 4033 Buras, and Gretna. 

He is the son of the late Martin St. Ann Sr., and Lorita Powell St. Ann.  Husband of the late Joann Williams St. Ann.  He is the loving father of Marla Rose St. Ann, and the late Maurice and Lovita St. Ann.  He is the grandfather of Gregory Alexander and Omari Williamson.  He is the beloved brother of Angeline Andry, and the late Bernard St. Ann, and Annletter Riley.  Uncle of Johnny Andry, Davie Andry, Rita Ancar (Leroy), Anita Brown, Bernard St. Ann and Shelia St. Ann.  He is also survived his one and only aunt Bertha Powell Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church located at 28683 LA – 23, Port Sulphur, LA 70083, at 11 a.m.  The limited visitation will begin at 9 a.m.  Father Jerry Stapleton officiating, and entombment will follow at Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Cemetery, in Buras, LA. 

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering, and practice social distancing.
