Manny Turner Smith

Manny Turner Smith departed this life on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the age of 29. He was born on October 9, 1991 to Donna and Michael Smith Sr. He was adopted in his earlier years by the late Anna Bell Taylor and Donald Taylor Sr, and spent most of his life in Phoenix, Louisiana. Manny enjoyed spending his time creating music, dancing, and having fun with family and friends.  Manny T. Smith is preceded in death by his mother Anna Bell Taylor and son Manny T. Smith Jr. 

Left to cherish his precious memories are his two beautiful children, Akelia Smith and Elijah Smith. His brothers Michael Edwards, Larry Smith, Leonard Smith, Thomas Smith, Calvin Smith, Charles Joseph, and his beloved twin Danny Smith. His sisters Dorothy Smith, Olivia Smith, Tiffani Smith, and Rose Joseph. His brothers and sisters through adoption Lynn Narcisse (Verlinda), Peggy Griffin (Ulysses), Bobby Ragas (Kimberly), Paul Ragas (Krystal), Paula Narcisse, Leon Narcisse, Spencer Narcisse, and Donald Taylor Jr. His Godparent Victoria Ancar and Ulysses Griffin Jr.  

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church located at 12661 LA – 15, Phoenix, La, 70040, at 1 p.m.  The limited visitation will begin at 11 a.m.  Pastor Tyrone Edwards officiating and interment will follow at St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery in Phoenix, La.  

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
