Luchia Earl Gordon departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at his home in Harvey LA. He was 61 years old and was born in Jackson, Mississippi before moving to New Orleans LA. with his family when he was a young child. He was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Beloved son of Ella Jean Greer and the late Lucious Greer. Devoted stepson of Carroll Hills. Beloved father of Alicia Martin (Mother Kim Martin). Grandfather of Kayshawn Ellsworth, Savannah Ellsworth and Anthony Martin. Brother of Christine Gordon, Cheryl Gordon, Artesa Gordon, Catherine G. Stewart (Sean), Chandra Wise, Raquel Wise, Lionel Greer (Chemeka), Carroll Wise (Valerie), and the late John Earl Gordon (Yvette). Special friend of Cherolyn Davis. Luchia is also survived by a several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Charbonnet -Labat- Glapion Funeral Home 1615 St. Phillip St., New Orleans LA. 70116. The visitation will begin at 12 noon and will be followed by a 1PM service. Pastor Torin Sanders of the Sixth Baptist Church of New Orleans will officiate. Interment will be private.
