It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Brother Louis Bradley, Jr., affectionately known as Spike. Born on January 4, 1947, Spike departed this world on October 17, 2023, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, wisdom, and an indomitable spirit. Predeceased by his son, Louis Bradley III, and his parents, Louis Bradley Sr. and Mildred Sanders Bradley. Spike lived a life marked by resolute determination and a zest for adventure. He was a quiet soul, suave and debonair, with a mischievous, playful side that endeared him to many. A lady's man and a sports fan, Spike was also known for his intelligence, stubbornness, and self-will. His personality was as captivating as it was unique. Spike was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the 1st brigade, 5th mechanized infantry on the demilitarized zone. This service speaks volumes to his courage and commitment, demonstrating the depth of his character and his dedication to his country. It ranks among his greatest accomplishments. Known for his skills in Blackjack, hunting, and fishing, Spike was also a keen cook, delighting friends and family with his culinary creations. The lessons he shared in these areas form part of the rich tapestry of his life's work, a testament to his broad-ranging interests and abilities. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 La - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Bishop Wilfred Johnson officiating and interment will be private.
