Loubertha Robinson Scott

Loubertha "Bertha" Robinson Scott, transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was 63 years old and a native of New Orleans LA., and a resident of Gretna LA. Loubertha was the CEO and owner of Shalom Home Care LLC., where she was pillar of compassion in the healthcare community alongside her friend and business partner Lisa Thomas for over 20 years.

She was a devoted member of Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center where she served in the Women's Ministry and Director of the Usher's Ministry until her health begin to fail.
Beloved daughter of Oscar Robinson and the late LouAda Brown Robinson. Devoted wife of Donnie Scott. Loving mother of Don Keller Jr., (Latrice deceased), Laquisha Keller, Jawina Keller (William), and Nakia Keller. Sister of Yolanda, Stanley, Vincent (Chunary), Oscar (Sonja), and Wilbert (Dechaun) Robinson. Sister-in-law of Carolyn (George) Brown, Shalinda, Antoinette, Ronnie and Roosevelt Scott. Lubertha is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her fur-baby Phantom, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family as well as her business associates are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center 2100 Ames Blvd., Marrero LA. 70072. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by an 11AM service. Bishop J D. Wiley is the host pastor, and Bishop Samuel Travis Jr. of Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center will officiate. Entombment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna.
