Linda Joyce Young Johnson

Linda Joyce (Young) Johnson, a beloved matriarch, peacefully transitioned on July 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 21, 1953, Linda lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Linda was the epitome of strength and grace navigating life's obstacles with sass and class. Her compassion and pure heart knew no bounds with wisdom beyond her years. Her smile alone was a beacon of light guiding us through the darkest days and shall continue to do so in loving memory.
Linda was proceeded in death by her Mother Jeanette (William) Young, Father, Artee Young Sr., Sisters Carol (Young) Conerly and Ida Mae (Young) Youngblood, and Brother Jessie William Young. She leaves behind her Sister, Benda (Young) Jackson, and Brother Artee Young Jr. whom she loved beyond measure. Linda was blessed with 2 adoring children, her pride and joy, Daughter Toya R. Johnson and Son, Irvin Johnson III. Her legacy extended to her 11 grandchildren, Danus A. Johnson, Kristopher Johnson, Cori D. Johnson, Irvin Johnson IV, Irvin Maddox, Amour Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Sydni Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Corey Williams, and Colby Williams.

Linda's memory will forever be cherished by nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends. Though she may be gone from sight, her love will continue to guide us and bring comfort in the days ahead.

Relatives & family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service which will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Robinson Funeral Home 9611 La - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Services will begin at 2 p.m.
