Leonard "Tiger" Lightell III

Leonard ‘Tiger’ Lightell III, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022, at West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero, LA.  He was 46 years old.  Tiger leaves to cherish his memories his beloved parents Leonard Lightell Jr, & Marcia Duplessis Lightell, his WONDERFUL brothers Derek Sr (Tran) & Sean (Mallory) Lightell, his BEST niece Taylor & AWESOME nephews Derek Jr, Dante, David, Mylan, Zayden, and Jayden Tiger Lightell.  He’s also survived by his beautiful great nieces Jilian & Juliann, his former wife Sherita Harris, godparents Patricia Morris & Robert Couvertier as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, his second mom Vonzelle Zeringue and too many friends to even begin naming but each of you know who you are.

Tiger is preceded in death by his grandparents Alix & Marguerite Duplessis, Leonard Sr and Amanda Lightell, Cousin Gabriel Duplessis, Jr., and Uncle Chris (Big Man) Lightell.

Relatives and friends of the family are all invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, at St. Stephen Baptist Church located at 1737 LB Landy Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70114.  The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m.  Dr. Norman Francis is the host pastor and Pastor Haywood Johnson of St. Paul B.C. of Ironton officiating.

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
