Leonard Kelly Sr. "HUSTLER"

LEONARD “HUSTLER” KELLY SR., departed this life on Sunday December 20, 2020, at his home in New Orleans at the age of 60.  He was born on December 26, 1959, in Brooklyn New York, and worked for many years as a Merchant Seaman.  He was known as a master ticket seller in New Orleans and the Metropolitan area. He was also an active member of Fifth African Baptist Church and was a devoted father, grandfather and friend who would immediately light up a room upon entering it.

Beloved son of the late Juanita Myles.  Ex-Husband of Zelda Kelly Sanders.  Devoted father of Leonard Kelly Jr. (Demetrice), and Latoya Kelly.  Proud grandfather of Leonelle Kelly, Shantrell Douglas Kelly, Stanley Kelly, Leonard Kelly III, Mark Lewis and Landon Kelly. Great grandfather of Syeir Kelly.   Brother of the late Leroy Myles.  Nephew of Brenda Lowe and Leonard (Iris) Harris.  Son in Law of Ruby Marcell.  Mr. Kelly is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at the Guiding Light Missionary Baptist Church located at 2012 Washington Avenue, New Orleans La. 70113 at 10A.M.  The visitation will begin at 8A.m.  Pastor G.R. Washington Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Holt Cemetery 527 City Park Avenue, New Orleans La. 70119
