Leona Rose (Barthelemy) Narcisse

LEONA ROSE NARCISSE, departed this life on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 79.

Daughter of the late Eugene and Irma Barthelemy.  Beloved wife of the late Paul Rogers “Coon” Narcisse.  Devoted mother of Mia (John) Johnson, Rennetta and Michael Whins and the late Roderick and Clinton Whins.   Sister of Ollie Thomas, Mercedes Guerrin, Oliver, Simon and Joseph Barthelemy.   She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.  She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 LA-15, Point-Ala-Hache LA. 70082.  The public visitation will begin at 9A.M. followed by an 11A.M. Mass.  Father Sampson Abduli will officiate and entombment will follow in St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering.
