Laron Joseph Williams

Laron Joseph Williams entered eternal rest at his home on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 8:48 p.m. He was 55 years old. He was born on July 21, 1968, to the late Gloria Narcisse Haywood and Alvin Williams Sr (Pauletta). He was proceeded in death by Ruby and Frank Narcisse, Beatrice Griffin Williams, and Allen Williams Jr. Laron was the loving companion of Juliet Williams. Father of Dwight Williams and Laron (Robin) Capers, and Destiny Williams. He was the bonus father of Taija Williams and Ethan Isidore. Loving grandfather of Rhi'lyn Johnson, Vzn Capers, Lyla Capers, and Tylek Charles. Bonus grandfather of Ethan Isidore III. He was also survived by his six siblings, Nolan Hills, Chondra Williams, Alvin Williams Jr., Jamie McCleave, Amy Bartholomew, and Ijanae Moliere. His aunts, Casterry Reddick, Morbia Narcisse, Romaine Riley, Lydia, Anne Mae Isidore, Joyce Encalade, Wilma Taylor, Margie Encalade, Kathleen Grifffin and the late Doris Williams Isidore. His uncles Drexel Narcisse, Kevin Narcisse, Allen Jr., Irvin, and Alton Williams. Laron is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including his favorite cousin, Nakeva Narcisse, other relatives, and devoted friends. He was a proud graduate of L.B. Landry High School class of 1987. He was a bartender at Who Dat Bar in Davant, LA. He was also a seafood boiler at After Dark Sports Bar and Lounge, (The Best Seafood on the East & Westbank) for many years.

Relatives and friends of the family, also neighboring pastors, officers, and members of all neighboring churches of Plaquemines Parish, are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at St. John Baptist Church located at 136 St. John Lane, Phoenix, LA. Dr. Rommel E. Griffin Sr. is the host Pastor, and Pastor Nadal Cosse officiating. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Phoenix, LA.
