Kimberly Keon LaFrance

Kimberly Keon (Kay Kay) Lafrance entered eternal rest on Monday, December 16, 2024, at her home in Gretna, LA. She was 43 years old. Kimberly was born in New Orleans, La on February 4, 1981, to Kenneth LaFrance, and Rose Claborne (Jones). She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. She was employed at Washington's Bar (12th Street Bar) for 2 years. Kimberly loved playing cards and going to the casino, and if you knew Kay Kay you know she loved money. Kimberly will forever be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Kimberly is survived by her mother Rose Claborne and her father Kenneth Lafrance (Cora). Three sisters Shelita James (Byron), Tyicia LaFrance, and Javante LaFrance. Two stepsisters Victoria and Sabrina Claborne. Two nieces, Sierra Petterson and Bella James. Four Nephews Orlando Petterson, Byron, Brandon, and Bryalon James. Two great nephews Deim James and Kyza Glover. One great niece Kaleigh Rogers. Six great aunties, a host of cousin's relatives and friends.

She preceded in death by her grandparents Rose Mary Jones and Joseph Jones Sr., Annie Mae LaFrance and Feliciana LaFrance. Three uncles Joseph Jones Jr., Dwayne and Ronald LaFrance. One Aunt Lisa Hawkins. Three Cousins Keedy Jones, Tatania Herrington and Terrance Gibson, and one nephew Christopher LaFrance.

Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service Saturday, December 28, 2024, at True Fellowship Christian Center 1101 Franklin Ave, Gretna, La 70053 at 10:00 A.M. The visitation will begin at 9 A.M. Bishop Clifford Green officiating, and interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Avondale, La.
