Kimberly Leigh Carter

Kimberly Leigh Carter departed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. She was 56 years old and was a resident of Inglewood, CA, and a native of New Orleans, LA.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her mother Barbara Hadley Marsh, daughter, Keri Carter, her devoted cousin who is like a sister, Erica Mealy, godson Keric Mealy, aunt Sharon Hadley, her Uncle Eric Hadley, and her furry grand-dog Berry. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles cousins, other relatives, and devoted friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ethel and Benjamin Hadley, Helen Mealy, Ethel Edwards, Nelda Hadley and Uncle Bernell Hadley.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church located at 723 Magellan Street, Gretna, LA 70053. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Larry Davis officiating and interment will follow at McDonoghville Cemetery in Gretna, La.
