Kevin Renell Lane

Kevin Renell Lane, transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at his home in Harvey, LA. The Lord called him home at the age of 55 to live eternally and he gladly accepted his invitation. His life's journey began on November 26, 1968, to his loving mother Audrey J. Davis and the late Earl Lane. He was baptized at a young age 8 at St. Matthews Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. Kevin leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Audrey J. Davis, his sister Tanginita Bridges (Terrance), niece, Tatayana Deterville, nephews, Bryant Jackson (Lacie), Shain Deterville, Jr., and Terrance Bridges, Jr., great nieces, Felicity Jackson and Aaliyah Lane, and great nephew, Ezra Jackson and a host of relatives, and devoted friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Earl Lane, his beloved grandparents, Thomas and Elna Jacob, Clarence Sr. and Thelma Lane, nephew, Bryant McGowan Jr. and great nephew, Adonis Jackson.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at New Zion Christian Family Worship Center located at 5040 Taravella Road, Marrero, LA, 70072. The visitation will begin at 9:30am followed by an 11:00 am service. Casket will be opened during visitation only. Pastor Carnell Bridges officiating and interment will be private.
