Kevin Louis Landry

Kevin Louis Landry age 63, the only son of Vera Poole Landry and Raymond Landry entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 23, 2024. Kevin was born August 30, 1960. He was the middle child of four girls, whom he loved dearly. Kevin attended Warren Easton High School and auto mechanic school.
He worked at Sewerage & Water Board, Antoine's Restaurant, Naval Base in Millington Tennessee where he received a plaque for Employee of the Year; and worked in various entities. His main focus was auto mechanics and rebuilding bicycles.

Kevin was loved and known in the neighborhood as Pawpaw. He loved and took care of his two best friends, his dogs, Butch and Sassy.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Louis and Albertha C. Poole. His paternal grandparents, Paul and Irma A. Landry, his sister Pamela Ann Landry and his father Raymond Landry, Sr.

Kevin leaves to cherish his precious memories to his mother, Vera Poole Landry, 2 children Kevin Louis Anderson and Nicole Colita Haynes; 3 grandchildren Kalyial Arieal Anderson, Kaylei Nichole Anderson, and Karter Louis Anderson; 3 sisters Sheryl L. Sissler, Deirdre Ann Landry and Paula Ann Landry, 2 stepbrothers, Raymond Landry, Jr., Amos Bartley; 3 aunts, Victoria L. Sims, Mira P. Graves, and Rose P. Santa Cruze. Nieces, Kendra Verai Scott, Erica Rae Landry and nephews, Curtis E. Alford, Jr., Kent Louis Landry (godchild) Destin Bland, great uncle to Kaleb Holm and numerous great and great-great nieces & nephews and cousins. Devoted cousin/Lil brother Paul Landry, III, special friend Lorraine Walker, Godfather Darrell Clayton.

Relatives and friends of the family, also parishioners of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church are invited to the celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 3501 N. Miro Street, New Orleans, LA 70117. Visitation 10:00 am and Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m., Fr. Francis Kamau, FMH Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Roch II Mausoleum.
