Kevin Joseph Green

Kevin Joseph Green (Fortenberry) departed this life and entered into eternal rest on February 18th, 2025. He was born on August 14, 1985, to the late Shuntell Fortenberry and Kevin Joseph Wright. He was the 1st of his mother's children. He attended LB Landry High School. Kevin worked as a Foreman at Zachary Construction, Superior Energy and Sugar Refinery. Kevin was a dedicated and hard-working individual, who's sweet and kindhearted soul never always gave to those he loved even strangers. Kevin leave to mourn his memories: his wife, Valencia Christina Allen Green, 3 daughters Vallure, Vashti, Sunset, 3 sons, Fortune, Kaydon, Valante Father Kevin Joseph Wright, 1 sister Keshionne , 5 brothers Stanley, Tevin, Donnell, Jaron, Edward, Grandfather Frank Fortenberry, Grandmother Dorothy Wright, 3 aunts Hope Bennett, Dana Butler, Lenore Simeon, Father n law Leonard Bridgewater, Mother n law Elder Valencia Allen, and a host of family and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Shuntell Fortenberry, grandmother Lois Butler, Grandfather Joseph Wright. Kevin was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.

Relative and friends of the family are invited to the celebration of life service which will be held on Tuesday March 11, 2025, at Fisher Community Church located at 1737 LB Landry Avenue New Orleans La 70114. The Visitation will begin at 9a.m., followed by a 10a.m., service. Officiating Pastor Apostle Darren L Williams of CF Power Center (headquarters 721 S. Lewis St. New Iberia, La 70560.

Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery 3540 US-90 Avondale, La 70094.
