Our beloved Keven Perkins Sr. was born on March 31, 1984, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a cherished son, devoted father, loving brother, an AMAZING uncle, loyal family member and dear friend. Keven departed this world on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and immeasurable love.
Keven embraced life with warmth and humor that left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a beacon of light, with a smile that radiated like the sun, brightening the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Keven's love knew no bounds. As a son, he brought joy and fulfillment to his parents, Vanessa Perkins and Eugene Baxter leaving them with a lifetime of cherished memories. Keven's most treasured role was being a father to his only son Keven Jr. He embraced the responsibilities of parenthood with love and dedication, leaving a lasting mark on the life he helped create. His legacy will continue through the love and values he instilled in his son.
As a brother, Keven was a pillar of strength and support for his sisters LaToya Perkins Dorsey (Patrick J Dorsey) and Rishawn Perkins. His love and guidance created a bond that will endure beyond the confines of this earthly existence. In addition to his familial roles, Keven touched the lives of countless friends and acquaintances. His presence was a source of comfort, and his spirit will be remembered for the laughter, love, and positive energy he brought into the lives of those around him.
Though Keven's physical presence is no longer with us, his memory will endure through the stories, the shared experiences, and the love he left behind. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to have called him family and friend. Keven will be welcomed into the gates of heaven by his Grandmother Audrey Mae Perkins, his Godmother Barbara Ann Williams, Great Grandparents, Great Aunts & Uncles and Cousins.
