Kenny Joseph Ancar Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenny Joseph Ancar Jr. affectionately known as Brusa, who left us at the age of 21 on December 13, 2024.
Born on November 6, 2003, in Gretna, LA, at Ochsner Medical Center West Bank, he was the beloved son of Tomika Hudnall and Kenny Ancar Sr. (Patricia Ancar).
Kenny resided in Houston, TX the majority of his life.

Kenny will always be remembered for the love he shared, his joyful spirit, and his unwavering faith in Christ.
He had a heart as big as his frame, often described as a "human teddy bear" for his tenderness and warmth. His legacy of kindness and genuine compassion will live on in the memories of all who knew him. Kenny's family was his greatest treasure.

He is survived by his devoted siblings: twin sister Kennedy Ancar, brother Tahj Ancar, and sister Paige Avila; his grandparents Carroll and Sifronia Ancar and Patricia Brown;
aunts and uncles: Trinise Hudnall, Kimberly Hudnall, Oren Ancar (Tasha Ancar), Danae Ancar (his godmother), Brittany Ancar, Shane Ancar, Kyle Ancar; and his godfather, Jared Lafrance.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Hudnall.
As a believer, Kenny took comfort in his faith and embraced life with a spirit of love and grace. His family and friends find solace in knowing that he is now in God's loving care.

A celebration of Kenny's life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 9:30AM, followed by an 11AM service.  Rev. Jordan La 'Vell Robinson Sr. will officiate and entombment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery in Port Sulphur, LA.
