Kenneth Joseph Petty

Kenneth Joseph Petty departed this life on Friday, August 1st, at University Medical Center in New Orleans. Mr. Petty was 68 years old and a resident of Harvey. He attended Frederick Douglas and Lincoln High Schools. He worked for R.N. Templeman Lumber Company for over 25 years. Son of the late Melvin Petty Sr. and the late Ruth Wright Petty. Beloved father of William Ganes III, Zanell Drope, Latoya Kennedy, Anna Gardner, Andra Gardner and Jessica Morris. Nephew of Beverly Austin. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. The visitation will begin at 1PM followed by a 2PM service officiated by Rev. Joel Fulton.
