Kenneth Paul Fulton's life journey began when Marion Pike Fulton and the late Louis Fulton Jr., gave birth to their fourth child, on December 7, 1965.
Kenneth Paul confessed and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was baptized at Second Zion Baptist Church, Marrero, LA. by Pastor James Nelson Brown. He knew the Word of God and would share his spiritual knowledge and understanding with everyone he came in contact.
Kenneth Paul attended West Jefferson High School but later received his GED. He had a love for landscaping at the age of ten when working with his grandfather in the family's business. He was a master at cutting and edging the entire yard with a weed eater. Family, friends and neighbors would all call him to cut and edge their yards because of his skills. And when the job was done to perfection, he would always say "fire." He was also a master crafter in making belts and purses. He could sit at the machine and make ten belts within an hour.
Kenneth Paul, known to many as "Shine" was loved by people he came in contact with and most of all his family. He was always loving, caring and kind. He maintained an upbeat and positive disposition. He was always jovial, bringing joy to everyone he met with his infectious smile, jokes and winning personality.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Fulton, Jr.; one sister Donna Faye Williams, one brother Sha'n Eric Fulton; his maternal grandparents Wilbert Sr. and Dorothy Pike, paternal grandparents Louis Sr. and Octavia Fulton; three aunts: Gloria Pike Spencer, Julia Mae Pike and Dorothy Pike Gilbert; three uncles: Leonard Jones, Wilbert Pike Sr. and Earl Ray Pike; one nephew Jeremiah Sims.
He leaves to rejoice in fond memories his loving mother Marion Pike Fulton; two brothers: Keith (Michelle) Fulton, Jr. and Louis Fulton, III; three sisters: Cynthia (Wesley) Solomon, Kimberly (Bryant) Sims and Kendra Pierre; two aunts: Delores (Frank) Herron and Debra Pike. Devoted friends, Earl Preston, Michael Bartley, Claudell Anderson and Debard Stevenson and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The Christian Empowerment Church located at 940 Cohen Street, Marrero, LA 70072.
