Karen Vanessa Enclarde Brooks departed this life peacefully at home home in Oakville LA., on Saturday, August 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, she was 67 years old and a native and lifelong resident of Oakville. Daughter of the late Eugene Enclarde and the late Emease Ragas Enclarde. Devoted wife of Oscar Brooks. Loving mother of Mark Anthony Enclarde, Kevin Eugene Whatley (Marlene) and Ashle Renee Bernette. Sister of Deborah M. Enclarde, Kermit D. Encalade, Olebria T. Green Lassien, Nadra N. Turner (John Frank), and the late Darren D. Enclarde, David Thomas Williams, Kevins Enclarde and Velinda A. Narcisse. Karen is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 11AM followed by a 12 noon service. Interment will be private.
