Kapricee Monique Jackson

Kapricee Monique Jackson, beloved mother, daughter, sister grand daughter and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 35. She was a native of New Orleans, LA, and was a resident of Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her loving children, Revelation Clark, Genesis M. Jackson, and Royal P. Hickerson, mother and stepfather, Romney and Eric Rahmaan, father, Melvin Taplet Jr., brother Michael Landry Jr., maternal grandmother, Faye K. Jackson, paternal grandmother, Nelita Taplet, uncles, Lionel C. Jackson Jr., Darius Taplet, Derrick Taplet, and Ankoma Taplet. A host of other relatives and devoted friends.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lionel C. Jackson Sr., maternal great- great grandmother, Rosemary Jackson, paternal grandfather Melvin Taplet Sr., and Michael Landry Sr., whom she affectionately called "Dad."
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Jordan L. Robinson Sr., officiating and interment will be private.
