Juanita Augurson Barnes, departed this life on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022, at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero LA. She was 73 years old and a native of Wisnor, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Marrero.

Beloved daughter of the late Joe and Erelene Williams Augurson. Wife of the late Plez McArthur Barnes. Devoted mother of David Bouie (Tanya) of New Orleans LA., Michael Bouie (Nicole) also of New Orleans and Lethianel Bouie (Brooke) of Forth Worth, Texas. Devoted sister of Estelle Augurson and the late Nathie Lee Smith, Ruthie Gray, Annie Bell Martin, Elnorah Miller and Joan McIntosh. Mrs. Barnes is also survived by 10 devoted grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037.
The visitation will begin at 9A.M. followed by a 10A.M. Rev. Jordan L. Robinson Sr., officiating.
