Josh Anthony Davis

Josh Anthony Davis was born on October 22, 1992, in New Orleans, LA. He departed this life on August 2, 2023. He was 30 years old. He was a graduate of West Jefferson High School class of 2011, where he played basketball. He also attended John Ehret High School and played basketball as well. He loved the sport, and his favorite teams were the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks. His first job was at Marques, and he would like you to know that he had 16 others after that. He was very hard working and ambitious. He always followed his dreams.

Josh is survived by his parents, Jill, and Thomas Brown Jr. His grandmother Dariana Davis and Madeline Royal. Brothers, Brandon Davis, Brandon Brown and Bradley Brown, sisters, Albreian Joseph (Edward), Christ Johnson (Jadyn), and Christie Horton. His aunts, Terri, Brandy, Dajuna and Kecia. Uncles, Anthony, Darryl (Roslyn), Derrick (Wanda), Trent and Torrey. Cousins, Heidi, Harold, Symphony, and Damon. Josh would also want us to thank his second mother, Elois Coleman, who led him to Christ and his baptism at Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Taza Green. We would also love to give the agencies that loved and supported Josh, Odyssey House Louisiana, Travelers Aid & Society, and NAMI New Orleans. Josh will forever be loved and remembered by a host of relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., until service time at 11 a.m. Elder Joseph Brooks officiating, and interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
